  Ate here for the first time with my wife last night. Luckily we'd made a reservation. We arrived right around opening time for dinner and the place filled up quickly. The dining room staff was well trained, courteous and professional and even though they were busy the service was wonderful. So too was the food. Nice green salad (we bought some of their delicious house made creamy Italian dressing to take home) and melt in your mouth baked garlic bread to start. My wife had the Mona Lisa and I had the beef canneloni which we both thought were outstanding. Other entrees ordered by other guests looked good too. The atmosphere was casual and relaxing and the place was exceptionally clean. Prices are quite reasonable for the quality and quantity of food. Our server Casey was wonderful, very attentive and personable. The closest thing I can come up with as a negative was that the very good minestrone needed a touch of salt. All in all a great experience. Well worth the trip up the hill from Orangevale. We'll definitely be back.

  Wow! This is great authentic Italian. Please don't tell anyone about this place so I can still get a seat. If there were 6 stars available it would get 10!
